The RGA: a force to be reckoned with!
The Regroupement des gens d'affaires de la Capitale nationale (RGA) brings together nearly 600 business people, entrepreneurs and managers who want to conduct business in French in Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais. Together they constitute the region’s leading Francophone economic force, with a purchasing power in the billions of dollars.
Currently, close to 64% of our members come from small and medium businesses, while 36% are from professional fields or manage large businesses or organizations. The most represented industry sectors are communications, insurance and financial services, education, consultancy services, the public service, automobile sales, tourism and the arts.
The RGA is at the forefront of the region’s economic and social development. To promote its members’ interests, it provides advice and recommendations on major local issues. The RGA’s positions on matters affecting economic development and bilingualism in business lead to concrete actions that benefit the whole community.
Mission
The RGA brings together economic partners on both sides of the Ottawa River to ensure prosperity for all, unparalleled quality of life and bilingual services in the National Capital Region. By uniting Francophone and Francophile business people in one economic force, the RGA creates a climate conducive to its members' well-being and the region's development.

Play a leadership role in the economic development of the National Capital Region.
Open doors for RGA members by establishing strategic partnerships that allow them to develop their markets and by providing information, opportunities to network, possibilities for business transactions and promotional vehicles for their businesses.
Aims
- Promote the interests of the Francophone business community in regional economic issues by being more active in the socio-economic development of the National Capital Region.
- Be receptive to our members, reflect their priorities and points of view in our strategic positioning, and ensure that our activities fulfill their needs.
- Make our mission known and promote bilingualism as a force for economic development.
- Increase, diversify and maximize our sources of financing.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in autumn 2008, the RGA has, over the years, become an indispensable economic reference point in Eastern Ontario and the Outaouais. Deeply involved in the region’s major concerns and challenges, its vision seeks to mobilize all economic partners to ensure economic prosperity, unparalleled quality of life and bilingual services in the National Capital Region.
