Executive Director, Casino Lac-Leamy
Kevin Taylor has worked in the hotel and restaurant industry for almost 25 years. In 1995, he joined Resto-Casino inc., where he subsequently held several management positions. This subsidiary of Loto-Québec manages restaurant and hotel services for Quebec’s three casinos.
In 2000, Mr. Taylor was named Food and Beverage Director at the Casino du Lac-Leamy. In 2001, Le Baccara restaurant was awarded the prestigious CAA/AAA Five Diamond rating for the first time. Mr. Taylor was appointed General Manager of the Hilton Lac-Leamy hotel in June 2003.
In April 2005, Mr. Taylor was appointed General Manager of the Casino du Lac-Leamy. Under Mr. Taylor’s management, the management team has undertaken a transformation of its customer service approach. Following a merger of Resto-Casino with casino operations in June 2008, he became General Manager of casino, food and beverage as well as hotel operations, which include almost 2,000 employees and generate annual revenues of more than $300 million.
Mr. Kevin Taylor is a skilled administrator who favours a collaborative approach. He is active in the Outaouais business community, serving as Governor of the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce and Board member for both Outaouais Tourism and the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la Capitale nationale. He is also involved in La Compagnie de chemin de fer de l'Outaouais.
