For the last 30 years, Lise Bourgeois has dedicated her life to the world of education, as a teacher and an administrator at different positions in the schoolboards of Eastern Ontario, at the Ministry of Education and at the Centre franco-ontarien des resources pédagogiques (CFORP). Since August 2003, she has managed the most important network of French language schools outside Québec, as Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer for the Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-Est. Her profound belief that each and every student can learn and succeed has been at the core of her constant quest for improvement and innovation in education. The much heralded successes of her schoolboard has made it arguably the best schoolboard in the province. In April 2006, Mrs. Bourgeois was chosen as administrator of the year in the public sector at the Gala of Excellence of the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la capitale nationale (RGA).
