Manager, Bank of Montreal
Line Bélisle has been with the Bank of Montreal for more than 25 years. She began her career in Montreal, first with the National Bank, then with the Caisse Populaire, before taking several years off to look after her family and travel abroad with her husband.
When she returned to the workforce in 1983, Ms Bélisle joined the Bank of Montreal in Edmonton. Since her transfer to Ottawa, she has held a variety of management positions, including personal banking manager, senior business-banking manager, branch manager, regional sales manager and executive assistant responsible for regional projects.
In April 2005, Ms Bélisle was appointed manager of the Smyth and St Laurent branch, which is a full-service branch offering a mix of banking and investment services for both personal and commercial customers.
As well as serving on the board of the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la Capitale nationale, Ms Bélisle is also a member of the board of directors of the Fondation de La Cité Collégiale.
